Dear
Editor
The
Tribune
Dear
Sh. Harish Khare Ji
Reading
your editorial on JNU reminded me of few lines of a song
Chingari
Koi Bhadke to Saawan Use Bujhaye
Saawan
jo agni Lagaye , Use kaun Bujhaye
When
Self-interests fight with self interest in the name of Nationalism or Freedom
of Speech Common man looks to “Rishis’, from whom they expect a word of wisdom
which rises above the self-interest and talks of welfare of the Nation.
Times
as such when party in power or in opposition is only worried about their self,
one can look towards ‘Rishis speak “either from the real Rishis like SRI SRI or
in the Editorials of National Newspapers.
SRI
SRI who is the the only living Rishi, has been criticized by yourself in your
Sunday Column where you Disapprove of his Political wisdom. Agreed- But
where to go now, I looked forward to a piece of advice from the “Harish Khare
the Rishi “. But I found , nothing more than Slogans in favor of one party and
against the other. Welfare of the Nation is nowhere to be seen.
There
is not even a single word of advice to the Young to admit their Youthful
Folly , where they say
“Go
India Go’.
It
was the same situation in Punjab when such incidents started happening, many
wise people used to say, that these are isolated incidents, they are
young KAKA'S and should be given freedom to do whatever they do. And the result
of not cautioning them, at the right time is before all of us. The pain and
torture through which Punjab had to go.
We
expect the wise men like you to rise above your past and look to future welfare
of the nation and if not 'then we can only say
Saawan
jo agni Lagaye , Use kaun Bujhaye
My
apologies for writing to you only and not to others because i have not read
any other , though i am sure they will also be slogans , may be in favor
of some other interest group.
Luv
Regards hope and apologies
